Himayat provides disability support services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD).

Our purpose started when we identified the need to break down barriers of accessibility between people of CALD backgrounds and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

A lot of migrants have trouble navigating and accessing the scheme due to a lack of understanding and not having it communicated to them properly.

Started in Canberra, our team comprises of a diverse range of skills, experiences, and cultural backgrounds.

Working together, we provide a range of services to help support, empower, and uplift our communities – informed by our lived experiences.
